An e-resource centre for students and researchers has been inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy in the Central Library premises of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University 24th January, 2023. This e-resource center has 20 computers with servers. Apart from this, a Learning Management System (LMS), hosted in the e-resource centre was also launched the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. The LMS is designed and developed in-house by Dr. Swarupananda Bissoyi, Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Application. Using this LMS, faculty members can upload various course materials for students. The e-Resource Centre and LMS can be used to access e-resources on various subjects, including the ones provided by Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha. In the LMS, varieties of learning resources are available online in different languages such as Odia, Santali, Sanskrit and Hindi. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tripathy advised the students and researchers to make optimum use of the resources and stressed that this LMS will be helpful for the upcoming NAAC evaluation. Chairman P.G Council, Professor Pramoda Kumar Satapathy, Registrar Shri Sahadev Samadhia, Head of Central Library and Professor in Zoology Prof. Hemant Kumar Sahu, Controller of Examinations Prof. L.D. Giri, Comptroller of Finance Shri Sukadev Tarei attended the inauguration ceremony. Assistant Professor of Computer Science Dr. Jamenjay Nayak, Senior Assistant of Central Library Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi coordinated the event. The event was attended by the faculty members, students and researchers of the University.
