Under the patronage of Prof. Hemant Kumar Sahu, Chairman PG Council, a condolence meeting was solemnly held at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University on 5th June 2023 to express heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the tragic Karamandal train accident in Bahanaga. Esteemed individuals, including Prof. H. N. Thatoi, President of the University Teachers' Association, Dr. Indrajit Naik, the editor, Professor M. Himabindu, IQAC Director, Sri Sahadeva Samadhia, Registrar, Sri Sukdev Tarei, CoE, and Professor Lakshmidhar Giri, CoE, addressed the gathering. The meeting witnessed the participation of teaching faculty and non-teaching staff from various departments of the university, united in prayer for the speedy recovery of the injured individuals.
