Department of Santali, Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University in collaboration with Kendra Sahitya Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Government of India organised a one day Symposium, titled “Movement of Santali Language, Script and Literature” on 21st May 2022. The function was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. K.K.Basa and Chaired by Padmashri Dr. Damayanti Beshra. Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. J. N. Besra, Head, Department of Sanatali. The Symposium consisted of two sessions, one each devoted exclusively on ‘YuvaSahitya’ and ‘NariChetana’. The symposium was attended by the faculty members and the students.
