Thanksgiving ceremony @MSCBU for securing 'A' grade from NAAC

 

Maintaining its excellence in the field of higher education, Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University has secured 'A' grade in the third phase evaluation process of NAAC. The University secured 3.1 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) out of a total score of 4.0. A five-member team from NAAC had visited the University from March 27 to 29. The evaluation was based on criteria such as Curricular Aspects, Teaching-learning & Evaluation, Research, Innovations & Extension, Infrastructure & Learning Resources, Student Support & Progression, Governance, Leadership & Management, and Institutional Values & Best Practices.

To celebrate this achievement, a thanksgiving ceremony has been held on 12th April, 2023 in the University auditorium. Attending as the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy congratulated and thanked the trinity of faculty members, non-teaching staff and students of the University. He expressed that, the university, which is located in a small town like Baripada, has set an example not only in Odisha but in the whole of India. He further hoped that keeping the trend of first 'B', then 'B+' and now 'A' grades, the university must get 'A+' or 'A++' grade in the coming days. Professor Tripathy called upon everyone to maintain excellence and be more productive in the coming days by thoroughly interpreting the NAAC peer team's report on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of the university. Chairman PG Council Prof. Pramod Kumar Satapathy in his speech thanked Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy, Ex-Vice Chancellor Prof. Kishor Kumar Basa, IQAC Director Prof. M. Himabindu, Registrar Mr. Sahadev Samadhia, Comptroller of Finance Mr. Shukadev Tarei, Controller of Examinations Prof. Laxmidhar Giri, Prof. Hemanta Kumar Sahu, Prof. Susmita Kar, Prof. Hrudaynath Thatoi, Prof. Babrubahan Mohapatra, Prof. Hiralal Das, Various NAAC criteria heads such as Dr. Pravanjan Mallik, Dr. Indrajit Naik, Dr. Sukant Kumar Nayak, Dr. Biswajit Rath, Dr. Jibendu Kumar Mantri, Dr. Minati Mallik and Dr. Aditya Kumar Patra and all the faculty members who worked hard on those NAAC Criteria, non-teaching staff and above all the students for making this possible. Registrar Mr. Sahadev Samadhia delivered the welcome speech and thanked all the faculty members, staff, students, public of Mayurbhanj and representatives of print and electronic media present. Finally, in the evening, a grand procession comprising all the faculty members, staff and students took off inside the University campus.
