35th Annual
Conference of Orissa Chemical Society and National Seminar on Frontiers in
Chemical Sciences (FCS-2021) was organized by P. G. Department of Chemistry,
Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, during Dec.18-19, 2021. The
objective of the seminar was to discuss the recent developments, importance and
societal benefit of chemical science. The
conference was inaugurated by Hon’ble
Vice Chancellor, MSCB University Prof. Kishor Kumar Basa as Chief Guest and
Former Director, NCL Pune, Prof. Swaminathan Sivaram as Guest of Honour.
Renowned Scientists and academicians from different parts of our country
delivered and discussed their scientific findings. Santi Swarup Bhatnagar
Awardee Prof. S. Sivaram delivered a talk on ‘Future of Chemistry’. The
scientific programme included different technical lectures, award lectures,
general body meeting etc. In the valedictory function different awards
were distributed.
